Tally lamp

A switchable red light on the front of the EOS R5 Mark II lets those in front of the camera know when you are shooting video.

Designed to maximise lens-design possibilities, the RF lens mount allows for optical designs that were previously impossible, as well as more portable lenses that can be with you more often. EOS R5 Mark II uses a hybrid lens’s Iris Ring for both stills and video .

With Pre-Continuous shooting activated, the EOS R5 Mark II continuously buffers 15 frames while the shutter-release button is half-pressed. Depress it fully to take the shot and these pre-captured frames will also be stored, so you won’t miss that crucial moment. Add in a top shooting speed of 30fps, and you have a great camera for shooting wildlife.
Stay focused, with Dual Pixel Intelligent AF

The EOS R5 Mark II focuses accurately and quickly, tracking moving subjects even if they are momentarily obscured from view. Eye Control AF lets photographers select a subject just by looking at it, while Action Priority mode recognises and tracks subjects in specific sports¹.
Hybrid shooting lets you tell your story in more ways than one
